Certified as a STOTT PILATES Instructor in 2007 Diana has been teaching since then. She strongly believes that Pilates, STOTT PILATES specifically, can support soul-filling activities, help to prevent injuries, and speed recovery by strengthening deep, supporting muscles. She has personally experienced improved performance in numerous activities including running, race walking, hiking, climbing, swimming, cycling, cross-country skiing, horse riding, kayaking, canoeing, skating, walking on ice, snow, and strolling on a beach.
Diana’s attitude to strength training changed the first time she experienced work on the Reformer; a piece of Pilates-specific apparatus. Continuing education in Cadillac, Stability Chair, Barrels, Injuries and Special Populations filled out the STOTT PILATES repertoire. As a Fully Certified STOTT PILATES Instructor (certified in levels from Essential to Advanced in all apparatus) Diana has the experience and resources to understand a vast number of situations. Diana is also a Qualified Total Barre Instructor, Qualified CORE Athletic Conditioning Instructor, Certified TRX Instructor, and Certified PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) Instructor.
Diana specializes in working with small groups and individuals. She works with a wide variety of clients from ballet dancers to athletes to pregnant women, from young people to seniors. She is passionate about guiding people to a new level of fitness and awareness of their bodies. She is happy she can use Pilates and her training in other fitness systems to make a positive change in people’s lives.
