Jordan graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta. Before this, she received her Bachelor of Health and Physical Education from Mount Royal University where she played varsity women’s hockey.
Jordan has completed post-graduate education in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS/Dry Needling) and advanced manual and manipulative therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Her choice of a career in physiotherapy arose from an interest in her own recovery from injuries sustained while participating in hockey, swimming, basketball and soccer. As a former elite athlete, she understands the importance of injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, and being able to consistently perform at a highly competitive level. She sustained a significant hip injury during her athletic career which sparked a keen interest in hip rehabilitation.
Whether you are a recreational athlete, highly competitive athlete, or looking to get back to meaningful activities; Jordan will help to create a comprehensive and evidence based rehab program to help you achieve your highest level of function and quality of life.
