At Altitude Collaborative Health, our Doctors of Chiropractic diagnose, treat and help prevent musculoskeletal (bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, joints and connective tissues) conditions and disorders and the effect they have on the nervous system. They not only specialize in treatment of the back and spine but also have extensive training in treating all regions of the body including the shoulders, knees, elbows, wrists, hands, feet and hips for injury management as well as performance enhancement.

Chiropractic students undergo rigorous training similar to that of other health care professionals. In Canada, students are required to complete a minimum of three years of university education prior to being eligible for admission to a Chiropractic accredited program. The current four-year Chiropractic program focuses primarily on human anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, radiology, pathology and clinical courses aimed at the diagnosis and management of disorders arising from the neuromusculoskeletal system.

All of the chiropractors at Altitude Collaborative Health have enhanced their skill of spinal manipulation with additional training or certification in a variety of treatment techniques (besides Chiropractic) including  Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston Technique, Kinesiotaping, and Acupuncture.

Chiropractors also make use of conventional diagnostic tests, such as X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound.
