Dr. Richard Robinson is an owner and Clinic Director at Altitude Collaborative Health. He works closely with the rest of our Sports Therapists to provide the highest standard of care to not only treat and rehab injuries but to help patients prevent injuries and ultimately optimize their performance.
Having gained his B.Sc Hons in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, Dr. Robinson went on to obtain his Doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, USA. In the years since, he has gained extensive experience in his field, some of his certifications include International Chiropractic Sports Sciences Diploma, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Massage Therapist.
While taking any opportunity to further his extensive knowledge, Dr. Robinson has worked with an array of world class athletes. He was a member of the Canadian Olympic Medical Team in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2014. He also works with the National Sports Centre in Calgary, the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team, Canadian Hockey, Speed Skating, Bobsled and Alpine Skiing national teams.
Dr. Robinson is also adjunct faculty at Palmer College of Chiropractic West Campus in San Jose, California and The University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
By applying his renowned experience to all of his clients, no matter their goals or injuries, Dr. Robinson leaves each client knowing their optimal physical condition is being looked after in every possible way.
